How the data is stored
The information about your email, username, name and password is stored on our secure database. Only our administrators have access to it for maintaining the community and no other third parties do. We do not share, rent or sell your information to any third-party trackers or organizations.
If you choose to sign up with Google, we will have access to your email, username, name, and password (the one you create for this ZG Forums account, not your Google account password).
How the data is used
After joining ZG Forums, you can create new topics, like other members' posts, reply to posts, and send private messages to other forums members. Your text posts and avatars can be seen by other users. However, your email is never shown to the public.
You can choose to opt in or out of the email notifications at any time. If you ever forget your password, we can send a reset link to your mailbox.
You can also delete your ZG Forums account, meaning, all of your posts, likes, texts and images will be completely erased from the database. This is permanent and cannot be undone. Our moderators may also suspend or ban members if they post irrelevant information or have inappropriate behavior on the forums.
